For the second year in a row, Adrianna Cunningham is Boys & Girls Clubs of Youngstown’s Youth of the Year! This amazing 18-year-old has been a member of Boys & Girls Clubs of Youngstown for nearly half her lifetime. Adrianna maintains a 3.2 GPA while also working more than 25 hours a week at her part time job and managing her Club responsibilities. Adrianna attributes much of her character growth to the Club and its staff, who she says have been exceptionally patient with her over her nine years of membership.
Each year, one exceptional Club member is selected to be the Boys & Girls Clubs of Youngstown's Youth of the Year, serving as an ambassador for all Club youth as well as a voice for all of our Valley's young people. Through the years, these individuals have exemplified the Boys & Girls Clubs mission and are proof to the impact Clubs make in transforming kids' lives.
Adrianna is a proud member of her high school National Honor Society and plans to attend the University of Kentucky this fall. She is a delightful and inspiring young woman. We are all so very proud of her, and wish her the very best of luck in all her endeavors!
